Over the past few months, skincare has become very important to me. This year I finally found makeup and skincare products that don’t irritate my skin and I’ve created a routine that I’m happy with.
I don’t use many products because I don’t like to put too much on my skin. On days off I like to keep it simple by cleansing my face with water and not wearing minimal product.
CLEANSER My holy grail is the Bare Minerals Oil Obsessed Total Cleansing Oil. I use it to remove my makeup. It leaves my skin feeling soft, thoroughly cleansed and hydrated.
FACIAL MASK The one I’ve been loving is the Orignins Drink Up Intensive overnight mask. I use this after work and let it hydrate my face overnight. Sometimes I’ll use it on my arms and elbows.
FACIAL SCRUB I either like to make my own or I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub once or twice a week.
MOISTURIZER I first started using La Mer soft cream after getting a sample at a blogger event. Since then I’ve purchased another one and am still loving in. It nourishes my skin and acts as a great primer before putting on my makeup.
EYE CREAM In the evening I put a small pea-size amount of Lancome Hydra Zen Jeux under my eyes.
SCRUB I like to make my own with sugar, honey and olive oil.
BODY WASH My favorite at the moment is the Ritual Of Ayurveda by Rituals.
MOISTURIZER I usually use the ones provided in the hotels or random ones I have at home.
FOUNDATION & POWDER After visiting a Debenhams in the UK I finally found the perfect makeup for my skin type. I use Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue (a tinted hydrating gel cream with SPF 30) and Bare Minerals Original SPF 15 Powder foundation.
